GridLink Utility:
Controller Service Management
Features
The user can remotely install, uninstall and manage GridLink service on
the farm from a central location. Please note that the user needs to have the
administrator's right on the servers. The user can perform the
following actions under "Service" menu.
To install the controller service on a server, the user needs to specify
the installation path, and a user account under which the service will be run.

To uninstall the controller service.
Please note that this will remove all files installed on the server.
If you want to upgrade the controller service, please do not uninstall
it. Otherwise, you will lose the historical job history, even the Farm
Profiles if this is a Profile Host.
If the user has already installed GridLink service on a server and wants
to upgrade the version, he/she can use "Upgrade Service"
instead of "Install Service" to make this process easier. The
utility will not ask the user to provide the installation path and the service account information. It
simply uses the existing information.
To change the controller service account user name and/or password.
To check the status of the controller service.
- Start/Stop/Restart Service
To start/Stop/Restart the controller service.
